Right now we are staying in Jasper Nat'l Park, About 150 miles north of Banff. Once we leave here (tomorrow) we will be making the push to Alaska and communicatioons opportunities will probably be few and far between. It looks like we will be going through northern British Columbia and the Yukon to reach the southern portion of Alaska. I'm actually posting this in the lobby of the hotel that we're staying in (problems with a connection in the room) so I'll keep it brief. In answer to some of your questions: we've traveled 3300 miles so far and the temp here in the Canadian Rockies is all over the place, 50's to 70's during the day and the evening it can go as low as the 40s. By the way, it stays light til almost 11pm, which is kind of weird. Well. I'll sign off for now and hope I can post again soon.
A year on the road.. and some other stuff.....
Where we share our tales of adventure as we journey from New York to Alaska and elsewhere....
